This book totally knocked me out of a reading rut! The narrator Michael is sensitive and endearing, but this novel is anything but sweet and simple. The cast of characters and the absurd and dangerous things they do propel this coming-of-age story through and beyond the ordinary. This book has a unique voice and is totally action-packed. Bonkers in the best way!
